About us
LITHUANIAN RENEVABLE RESOURCES ENERGY ASSOCIATION (LAIEA) is a voluntary non-profit public organization uniting companies, associations, and scientists that work in the field of renewable energy for common activities.
LAIEA Goals
- To create a favorable environment (political, legal, economic, competitive, etc.) for the establishment and a successful operation of companies specializing in the renewable energy field.
- To strengthen the role of the Association and to enhance its influence in formulating and implementing energy policies as well as in making decisions related to the use of renewable energy resources.
- To actively participate in creating the legal framework for renewable energy consumption.
- To contribute to reaching the target set by the European Union authorities to have at least 23% of renewable energy resources in the final energy balance by 2020.
- To establish and maintain a long-term cooperation with affiliated structures in the European Union and other renewable energy friendly countries.
- To become known as a credible and trustworthy partner in the renewable energy field both nationally and internationally.
- To fairly represent and defend the interests of the members of the Association in Lithuania and abroad
